ACADEMIC DIRECTOR

Chair of Material Handling and Logistic Systems

Former endowed chair of Logistics H. Hübner Foundation
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Kai Furmans

Prof. Furmans personal career and his professional experience very much reflect the primary goal of these interdisciplinary programs: life-long learning! Drawing from his own experience in industry Prof. Furmans customized these programs to the specific needs of top management executives.

»Engineering or science graduates often receive an excellent analytical training and are educated to quickly find solutions for problems. Two thirds of the top management positions in Germany are filled with engineering graduates. In order to pursue a higher-level management career the full range of management skills normally taught in business administration or finance degree programs are essential. As a high-potential professional engineer in mid-career you often do not have time to participate in a second full time degree program. Our dual approach efficiently interspersing periods of teaching with on-the-job-training coaches executives for the quantum leap into higher management.«
