Track description:
Risk management is a process involving risk analysis, risk perception, risk valuation and risk measurement for any risk in an economic organization. In recent years, financial firms and insurance companies have taken the concept of risk management in three main directions:
- by recognizing the need to dynamically optimize the risk-return trade-off;
- by engineering contracts that are able to transfer selected types and proportions of risk;
- by trading those contracts.
In this module, all forms of financial, operational and insurance risk will be studied.
