Track description:

The track “Networking and Network Economics” consists of three courses:

  1. Networking;
  2. Advanced Web Applications
  3. Network Economics.

Key learning-targets of the course on Networking are to understand the design and engineering principles behind current networking technologies as well as to learn about problems and solutions identified so far by the network community. The course on Advanced Web Applications will give an in-depth understanding on state-of-the-art concepts of advanced web applications and the benefits of web technology for private and public enterprises. Network Economics will focus on the intrinsic characteristics of networks and provide skills on network planning and coping with the regulation of network industries. Practical case studies on design and planning of network products will provide opportunities to combine methodological skills with applied expertise.
