Track description:

Business processes and software systems in an organization are strongly related to each other. Efficient and effective business processes require software systems that are adapted to the specific requirements of the organization. The track “Business Processes and Software Engineering” involves engineering approaches, methods, and tools to the design and implementation of business processes on the one hand and of software systems on the other hand. Interrelationships between both areas are considered. Software services can be assembled in complex applications to support the flexible execution of business processes within and between organizations. Enterprise application integration aims at integrating different software systems along existing business processes.
