Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. hc. Albert Albers

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. h.c. Albert Albers has been a full professor and head of the Institute of Production Development at the Universität Karlsruhe (TH) since 1996. On the basis of his real product development experiences in the automotive industry and the management of large development fields, the focal points of his research activities are product development, innovation processes and propulsion technology. The challenges of the management of multi-disciplined Projects, such as the Humanoid Robotics Project determine the focus of his research. The focus lies on Methods, Systems and Processes and the effective Management in an industrial environment. Work in the field of product development and its methods deals with strategies, systems and tools for supporting product development processes. Innovation is the creation of new approaches and solutions into successful products in research and teaching is the driving force of our work. Don’t wait for the future – design it!
